Saint-Gobain Welcomes BEC Delegation for Sustainable City Lights Tour
Saint-Gobain was thrilled to host the Business Environment Council (BEC) delegation at our global headquarters in Paris as part of their Sustainable City Lights Tour, held from May 18–24, 2025. The visit showcased our commitment to sustainable construction and fostered inspiring discussions on building a greener future.
On May 22, senior executives Emmanuel Normant, Pierre Alain Gilet, and Claude da Silva, joined by our Hong Kong team members Pascaline Hayoun and Eric Wong, welcomed the BEC delegation to the iconic Saint-Gobain Tower in Paris’s vibrant La Défense business district. The tower, a model of low-energy design, serves as a living showcase of our innovative, sustainable solutions, including glass, plasterboards, ceilings, and flooring systems.
The delegation enjoyed a comprehensive tour, seamlessly organized by Ghislaine Bagdi and Isabelle Debaisieux, highlighting how Saint-Gobain’s cutting-edge materials enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and improve indoor comfort. These advancements align closely with BEC’s mission to drive ecological transformation.
The visit sparked meaningful conversations about the future of sustainable construction, reinforcing Saint-Gobain’s dedication to pioneering eco-friendly building solutions. We are excited about the opportunity to collaborate with BEC and look forward to continuing our shared journey toward a more sustainable world.
