Saint-Gobain Explores R&D Synergies with City University of Hong Kong
On 21 August 2025, Saint-Gobain Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan had the privilege of visiting City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) to explore synergies in research and development. This visit aimed to foster collaboration in sustainable innovation and strengthen academic-industry partnerships in the region.
The Saint-Gobain delegation was led by CEO Pascaline Hayoun, HR Director Elaine Lam, and R&D Director Lin Li. They engaged in insightful discussions with CityUHK’s leadership and esteemed faculty from the Departments of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Materials Science. Notable attendees from CityUHK included Prof. Ho Cheung (Anderson) Shum, Prof. Lishuai Li, Prof. Denvid Lau, Prof. Shek Chan Hung, Prof. Sai Wing Tsang, Prof. Xiaocheng Zeng, and Mr. Simon Lim.
The visit featured guided tours of two key facilities at CityUHK – the Hong Kong Institute of Clean Energy (HKICE) and the TRACE Lab. These tours provided valuable insights into the university’s cutting-edge research infrastructure and ongoing projects.
