Saint-Gobain Architecture Student Contest 2026 Showcases Future Talent in Sustainable Architecture

The Saint-Gobain Architecture Student Contest 2026 was held in Belgrade, Serbia, bringing together talented architecture students from around the world to exchange ideas, collaborate across cultures, and explore innovative solutions for the future of sustainable architecture.


Representing Hong Kong on the international stage were Lau Kai Yan Carmen, Fung Wing In Ingrid, and Liao Ho Ngai from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The team presented their renovation design concept, demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to sustainable design principles.

The annual contest provides a unique platform for students to address real-world architectural challenges while promoting innovation, sustainability, and responsible construction practices. Through their participation, the Hong Kong team showcased the vision and potential of the next generation of architects and designers.
