Saint-Gobain Architecture Student Contest 2025 Shines in Lyon, France

The Saint-Gobain Architecture Student Contest 2025 took place this week in Lyon, France, bringing together some of the brightest young minds in architecture from across the globe. Representing Hong Kong, Lechi Ma, Kong Kit Yuen, and Yui Hei Joshua Chan from The Chinese University of Hong Kong showcased their innovative renovation designs, competing in this prestigious international event.

This remarkable platform allowed the Hong Kong team to present their creative vision while exchanging ideas with fellow students from around the world. The contest fostered a dynamic environment of collaboration and inspiration, pushing the boundaries of architectural design.

In addition to the competition, the team participated in an enriching field visit to Chimilin and Villefontaine (Les Grands Ateliers), where they explored inspiring sites that sparked new perspectives and ideas. The event culminated in a spectacular awards ceremony and a memorable gala dinner, celebrating the participants' hard work and creativity.
