Hong Kong–Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Supported by Saint-Gobain Construction Solutions

The Hong Kong–Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP) is a landmark cross-boundary development in the heart of the Greater Bay Area, envisioned to become a world-class hub for innovation, research and development, and sustainable urban growth. To meet the project's stringent requirements for quality, durability, and long-term performance, a range of Saint-Gobain construction solutions were specified across key rendering, tiling, and waterproofing applications.

For façade and finishing works, Weber products played an important role in delivering consistent quality and efficient installation. weberbase easi render was used to provide a smooth and durable rendering solution with excellent workability and adhesion. weberdeko base supported façade aesthetics by creating a uniform and reliable substrate for decorative finishes, while weberset 353 delivered strong and dependable bonding performance for tiling applications.

In critical waterproofing areas, Fosroc solutions were selected to provide comprehensive protection against water ingress and environmental exposure. Proofex Engage, a fully bonded waterproofing system, was adopted for below-ground structures to ensure long-term waterproofing integrity. Fosroc Polyurea WPE provided a seamless, highly durable waterproofing membrane suitable for demanding conditions, while Nitoproof RS offered flexible and UV-resistant protection for exposed areas.
